So my guess is that it has something to do with the CAR NET facility which NAR models got in the MIBI units and that is universally available (I believe) in the MIBII units. RoW models appear to have the "none" setting as a factory defaultīut ALL of the MIBII units that I have seen (regardless of country - Europe, Australia, USA) have the "Visual" setting from the factory. OK - in regards to your question, I don't specifically know the answer (perhaps someone else here has the answer), but I've only seen the settings "Visual" on this adaptation channel on NAR vehicles for MIB1 units. Does anyone know what it does?ĭrive: Hello - how about sending down some of your nice cold weather!!! I have this setting in 5F: "Sporadic ring break detection,Visual". I will check this website that has many good information. Actually they tweak the parameter which they like.Īnyway I appreciate you to try to understand my input and post my approach too.

They satisfied day time meter illumination brightness of this approach.

Thank you for your your reply and sorry for my explanation did not satisfied you yet.Īs I mentioned last msg, my observation may not correct to refrect actual phenomenon of illumination panel control logic, but many friends of "Minkara SNS" folks applied this adjustment. PS: There is nothing wrong with your English - it's very good and it's far better than my knowledge of the Japanese language! Hopefully I have done justice to your original work. I hope that we can both agree to disagree!Īs you can see, I have included your tweak instructions in a previous post.

But that's OK - both your tweak and mine (using the phototransistor channels) work - so that's all that's necessary. Rather, it was entirely due to my addled brain (made poorer by old age and a fondness for red wine)! I have thought further about your view and alas, I still can't accept your explanation of the purpose for the "X" and "Y" values in these dimming_curves. I wanted to make clear that my confusion regarding your tweak does not result from your explanation.
